You guessed it - time to translate our garlands into bracelets ...
Equipment
Making your garland bracelet
I noticed a connection between my covid virus drawing and the Test 3 garland design and decided the patterns should transpose into a bracelet design well. I stayed with the smaller scale test size as the inner diameter is flexible enough to fit over my hand.
I wanted it to be more rigid than the test, so glued together two layers of watercolour paper.
On one side I drew the covid design and painted it in watercolours. I used the original test piece 3 and overlay to make sure the ‘heads’ matched up with the circles on my painted image.
