Digital Handmade Print Project

This project is a practical introduction to the field of ‘digital handmade’. This project involves the use of selected analogue processes and materials to create a digital design work. 

All lessons have been broken down into 50min ‘chunks’. We appreciate that things don’t always go to plan so the duration may vary based on your resources, setup and pace of students.

The workflow is based on common industry practices and aligns with the ‘digital handmade’ movement. The project has not been designed to meet a particular assessment criteria, but could be used to support various achievement standards in the Visual Arts, Technology and Digital Technologies learning areas such as; Visual Arts AS 90917 1.5 - Produce a finished work that demonstrates skills appropriate to cultural conventions.
